The Heroes of the Fourth of February
Oh, Homeland, we salute your sons
Fallen to give us our independence
We honor the past in our history
While, through work, we create a new man.
Onward march, Angola
To revolution, for the sake of Might to the Populace!
United Homeland, Liberty.
One single People, one single Nation
Let us raise our voices in freedom
For the glory of the African Peoples
Let us march on, Angolan fighters
Out of solidarity with all oppressed peoples.
With pride we will fight for peace
Side by side with the progressivist forces of the world
